o1. Can I increase the amount of dollars I earn?
Sure. You can earn more money as you level up through a higher apartment income and a better job through FTV. Also, as you level up the amount of dollars you get from converting diamonds increases. Despite this, you shouldn't level up just to make more money if it means that your Lady will be weak. It's better to just duel for the extra cash you need now and work on your skills.
You can also increase the amount of dollars earned by purchasing the Interior Designer and Lucky Lady talent for 10 diamonds. Both last a week. I personally have never purchased these and won't. I consider it an extreme waste of diamonds akin to buying energy packs. Totally not worth the time. Dollars is one thing in the game I believe you can earn without spending a single emerald or diamond UNLESS of course you need to practise and it's in the 60k+ range.
o2. Is there a set amount of money I can earn from duels?
No. The amount of money received after a successful duel is dependent on whether or not the Lady has money in her bank. Some clubs do have a trophy that provides them with a percentage increase regarding the amount of money they can earn from a duel but this is few and far in between.
o3. Can a friend send me dollars?
No. They also can't send you emeralds or diamonds. You could always duel your friend to get their money but I don't think that would make you a very good friend.
o4. Can my boyfriend/fiance give me money?
Don't you wish! No but they sure are a money sink though. Boyfriends giving your Lady money was in LP: Classic. The only thing the men in the game give now are emeralds once you've given all the affections for a particular round and increase in skill for a partifcular skill. You get special clothes when you've received all the gifts. Fiances, however, increase all skills but only if they are kept happy, which is a waste of money and unnecessary since he can't break up with you.
o5. Is there really no other way to earn emeralds besides what you've written?
You can win emeralds from certain events but the actual hows, when, and how much are based on that particular event.

o7. I had a 100% chance to win an emerald but didn't! What gives?
This conundrum has been asked, debated, and spoken about many times. According to fellow guides Thyriah and PurpleBondGirl, both had a 100% chance to win an emerald but didn't. Both ladies sent a Feedback request and were essentially told that you can win emeralds at 16% and that 100% is not a guarantee. It appears that someone on the team failed basic arithmetic because 100% is 100% and 16% is still a 16% chance to win emeralds. Their argument would hold more weight if you could win an emerald at 0% but alas... -_-
o8. Someone is offering to buy me diamonds do you think I should-?
Let me cut you off right there. Should you give them your account information (login name and password)? Absolutely not. If--and that is a BIG if--someone wants to buy you diamonds there are a lot of ways to do so without them wanting you to compromise your information. They can buy a gift card and give you the card information and you can make the purchase yourself. I wouldn't even recommend using your PayPal account because as safe as that is it's too risky and most PayPal accounts are linked to your banks and credit cards.
